A delightful antique miniature book, "The Children's Bible", by "A Lady of Cincinnati". Dates to the 1834 - 1840 era; fresh from an excellent local estate collection. The book has a copyright date of 1834, by Fisher & Brother, Philadelphia / New York. It contains 190 pages (including the introduction & frontispiece) of which 27 are full-page engraved illustrations. Featured here are a "greatest hits" of traditional Bible tales, from both the Old & New Testaments, from the Creation to the ministry of St. Paul.
