eBay This is a presentation Holy Bible, measuring 11 x 7 inches, it was printed in 1834 and Presented to Mrs. Willam Truex in 1845, By The Ladies of St. Ann's Church, Morrisania. Both covers have become detached, there is foxing and browning on all pages, the spine is holding but damaged, (please see pictures). Several of the pages are creased and the back third of the book is slightly detached from the spine. The covers, front and back, still hold a good amount of gold leafing but are distressed on the edges particularly the corners. It is 187 year old book and shows its age and patina while ... |
